Today (5 November 2024), reporters reported that the 2/2024 meeting of the Wildlife Conservation and Protection Committee agreed with the proposal by the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation to consider two important draft announcements of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment: the determination of the monitor lizard as a type of wildlife that can be bred and the determination of the type of protected wildlife that is permitted to collect, harm or possess swiftlet nests.
